Along with reconditioning fire suppression
systems we also decommission and disconnect these systems. The rebate
value for these systems depends on the type of agent and the condition
of the equipment. Systems involving Halon 1301 are becoming less and
less valuable as time progresses.
Currently there is not a manufacture which is supporting older Halon
1301 equipment making it increasingly difficult to expand or reuse
these systems. At present the retail value of existing Halon 1301
systems is limited to the agent alone as it is still in small demand
for recharging.
